Hudson Hirsel established a Trust Fund to benefit the community of Coldstream to the value of £200,000 back in April.
The Trust aims to support the local community by aiding recreational activities such as participation in sport, promotion of the arts, culture, heritage, education, environmental improvements and charitable initiatives or provide a community benefit.
The first round of applications were accepted in June and awards made in August.
The local groups awarded grants are
- Coldstream Playgroup and Toddlers
- Coldstream Football Club
- Coldstream Historical Society
- Coldstream Outdoor Play Project
- Coldstream Twinning Association
The grants are awarded on a twice yearly basis with the round of applications being accepted later this year.
